I want to write a cool story. One that everyone will totally be impressed by, show to their friends and talk about for years to come. A true story about my life.
But, I figured out, in order for that to happen I kinda need to have something cool to talk about.
So, for now I'll just keep with the small little blog posts about the small cool things in my day to day life.
Today I was suddenly placed in a bad mood.
I'm not entirely sure what set me in that spot, but it sure was obnoxious.
But rather than dealing with it like the cool, collected adult that I am...*coughcough*...I got super grumpy, threw a pillow across the room, yelled really loudly and turned my music up loud.
This was a rare thing for me. But it felt so damn good.
I spend all of my time focusing on how to handling things and work through it in my head without causing a scene or making a fuss when I really just need to yell and move my body.
Sometimes I just gotta do what makes me feel good.
How's that for a small story?
Also. Here's a kitten picture.

Yeah. That's how I feel right now.
That sister of mine, Laura, has gotten me hooked on the TV show "Grey's Anatomy". I'm in the middle of season six now and I must comment on all of the wonderful music. As in, Street Lights by Kanye West.
They just play all the right songs at the right times and then you get all emotional and the episode is over...
Ahem. It's okay.
I'll pull myself together.
I got this.
This morning I watched "The Price Is Right" as a good little wake up show while I did my ballet. Pretty lame episode, but I think Drew Carey was caught off guard a couple of times and had to make stuff up on the spot and that was certainly entertaining.
After having my breakfast for champions...cereal...I had a nice dance party while I took my shower.
Having a tech savvy father with all of the cool gadgets is pretty nice. Just hook your laptop up and boom! Speakers of awesomeness for listening to music while you wash away yesterday.
I do love to meditate in the shower. I imagine the water flowing through the top of my head and catching onto all of my worries and fears and flowing down my body and out my toes and down the drain.
Deep breaths are my favorite medicine. Learning to actually relax all of my body with every breath, letting go of all the strain in my muscles and feeling free in my heart, it's the best thing for me. Nothing helps more. No drugs of any kind could ever bring me as much comfort as filling my lungs with the beautiful oxygen that this world gives to me.
I am thankful for my lungs.

I'll never forget March Fifth

My oldest sister Laura married Zachary.
Oh and what a day it was. Although it was several months ago, I remember every second as if it was yesterday.
Every day of planning with Laura:
From trying on dresses to picking which song to cut the cake to, from helping Zachary ask for permission to getting the not so unexpected picture of Laura with a ring on her finger.
I remember when Laura and I would stay up late at night talking about how she felt about Zak. I remember the word she used, too.
Twitterpated. And it was in that moment I knew they would be together forever, cheesy as it may be.
I could see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice that she was honestly head over heels for this boy.
And I was SO right. To this day I still squeal inside a little bit when I remember that they're married.

Skipping the work out, and climbing stairs in Jerome instead.
My mommy and I decided it was way too hot down here in the valley of the sun, so we ditched all the phoenix kids and went to Yavapai county for two days! woot woo!
We drove up the back way because we've drivin' up the main freeway a thousand times and we wanted something a bit more scenic this time.
It only added an extra hour of drive time, so what the heck?!
I drove for the first hour or two until the roads got super duper windy and curvey, then I let mom kick into awesome driver mode and take over.
But, that means EMILY GOT TO TAKE PICTURES with the very beautiful Nikon D40 that belongs to Koree. But, Koree and Emily did a camera switch. Awwhhyeaahhh.
I ended up taking a bout 200 pictures on that trip. Pretty rad.
So, we drove up the backroad through Yarnell and Peeples Valley and all that, then we went through the downtown Sedona area and got to see the GORGEOUS mountains of Sedona. Ohmy. Such a pretty sight to see! and all of the round abouts up there are crazy! holysmokes! don't even get me started about the roundabouts through Cottonwood. Sheesh.
We went and had Delicious Thai food with an old friend who lived near Sedona. It was nice to see him again. =] The food was homemade and SUPER duper tasty. He gave me a recipe for the salad he made, we'll see if I remember...
Cucumber and onion with a little bit of pepper, viniger, and sugar. Make it before the rest of the food so it has time to soak. I think that's all.
But gosh, that was so darn tasty! it was like dessert to me! But, then again, I do have a weird love for both Cucumber and Onions. So, maybe that's why. Teheheh...
Then we went and spent the night in a Casino hotel, because it was dark by the time we left our friends house and we didn't feel brave enough to pitch a tent in the dark. Heheh.
The next morning I drove us up into Jerome. Yuckyscary. Being afraid of heights and all...that wasn't the best drive. Being right on the edge of that very tall mountain with very little between me and the edge. Not the best mix ever.
But, we made it up alive! and man was it so beautiful up there! like I said, I took lots and lots of pictures.
And mum bought me a very pretty necklace that was made by a lady in Jerome, whom I got to meet! and talk to! and she told us where to get good lunch. Tehehehe. yay for awesome people in Jerome!
We had a giant piece of cake from the Haunted Hamburger, and man was it goood. then we waddled back down to the car and had a beautiful drive back south. =]
All in all, a good week.
Let's see what tomorrow brings?

Meet me at the hotel room.
A fun and lovely day filled with dancing and movie watching and tasty foods.
Jordan flew in this morning and will be staying with us for a few days.
This was my first time meeting him, although I have talked to him before on skype and text and such.
But, it was exciting none the less to get to meet him in person this time. He seems like a cool enough kid. =]
Yesterday Laura and I were totally planning her wedding like you would not believe. So much goodtimes. I'm madly in love with all the beautiful ideas she has for her wedding.
and I'm possibly getting a few idea of how mine will be with Mr. Imaginary Prince of mine. =P
I'm so very excited for Laura and Zak to get married. I love them together, and I love being around them. They're a very easy couple to be around. No uncomfortableness. All nice and chill. =]
Natascha and I decided to skip Zumba on Wednesday, and to make up for it by dancing extra hard at the drum circle on Friday.
Which, I'M SUPER EXCITED FOR. First Friday's are SUPER AWESOME. and I love this drum circle oh so very much. There are manymanymany people who come and drum, shake, dance, spin poi, hula hoop, sing and just enjoy the moment and awesomeness of it all!
I've been looking at cars on Craigslist for a few days now trying to get an idea(and price range) of what I might want, and what I could actually have.
So far it's looking like a 2005 or 2006 Toyota Matrix would rock my socks off.
I had a dream that my car was parked in the third spot of our garage, so maybe that was a sign I should get a red car so I could blend in with my parents cars! tehehe.
Tahtahfornow.
